The Vivace Chorus returns to the Royal Albert Hall, after the sell-out success of its Mahler 8 performance in 2011, with a grand-scale performance of Verdi’s Requiem.

Once again, we are working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and our massed choir of 400 voices includes the Wimbledon Choral Society, the Twickenham Choral Society and the London Philharmonic Choir. With these talented forces and excellent soloists under the baton of conductor Jeremy Backhouse, this Verdi Requiem will be a thrilling live musical experience.

The sound the chorus made was electrifying and the whole symphony unforgettable.” Audience member, Mahler 8, May 2011.
