The creation of light, the heavens and earth

Claimed as the greatest triumph of Haydn’s career, The Creation is an accessible, joyful work that is easily one of the favourite choral works of all time. 225 years after its British premiere, we’re delighted to be performing this piece with the chamber orchestra of the National Symphony Orchestra and professional soloists. Sung in English, expect exuberant choruses and dramatic storytelling, based on the Book of Genesis, Milton’s Paradise Lost and the Book of Psalms.
