A foot-tapping feast of Gershwin favourites
The songs and music of George Gershwin have a universal and enduring appeal. Alongside his brother, Ira, Gershwin created music for a new age, with endlessly toe-tapping tunes and lyrics that captured an age and have lasted more than a lifetime.
Join us for a delightful summer celebration of his work, with all your Gershwin favourites, including Summertime, The Man I Love, and I Got Rhythm. As Gershwin said: “Music has the power to make us feel alive, to remind us of the beauty in the world.”
What better way to celebrate that power and beauty than enjoying his music with us?
We’re delighted to be joined by The Browne-Windham Jazz Quartet. As highly respected and in-demand players on the UK jazz scene, the Quartet brings a wealth of experience and jazz flair to our Gershwin celebration.
