Vivace Chorus’s popular Come & Sing returns this year with Mendelssohn’s dramatic oratorio, Elijah. Full of lyricism, it’s a fantastic piece for choirs, with plenty of wonderful singing and lots of well-known choruses, including ‘Lift thine eyes’, ‘He, watching over Israel’ and ‘Baal, we cry to thee’.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend a day exploring Elijah with our professional musicians, Jeremy Backhouse and Francis Pott, who will help you to bring this wonderful music to life, including a performance at the end of the afternoon of all the choruses we’ve covered.
