When we lovers of choral music from time to time sit down and muse over our Desert Island Discs selection, many of us will have included, or at least have on the reserve list, the Mass in B minor by J S Bach – arguably the greatest choral work ever written. Musical fashion does not always look so favourably on performances from larger choirs, so take this opportunity to join us at our Come & Sing to re-discover the glories, the insights, the beauty, the exhilaration, of this powerfully moving and uplifting work, possibly the finest ever setting of the Latin Mass.

Requirements to join the day are a love of singing and choral music, and £20! What you will receive in return is the hire of the scores, tea and/or coffee, homemade soup and a ploughman’s, the company of others who enjoy singing and a day of music led by our Music Director, Jeremy Backhouse.

The event is now fulL. Please fill out the form below or contact us to be placed on a waiting list.
