Today we are lucky to have two professional musicians of the highest calibre to train the singers:
Jeremy Backhouse has been the Music Director since 1995 and has earned the respect of all who sing for him or play under his baton.
Francis Pott joined as rehearsal accompanist in 2008 and soon showed himself to be a versatile, talented and sensitive accompanist. He is a composer of international renown and has made a number of recordings as both pianist and accompanist.
We give six concerts a year, mostly in Guildford; we also regularly sing at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London and Fairfield, Croydon. Our recent concert tour to Paris and Rouen was a great success.
Recently, we have developed a rewarding relationship with the Brandenburg Sinfonia, the professional London-based orchestra with whom we frequently sing.
